The Basement You Can’t Do your Laundry In.

The name “Hup San" (和生) translates to "Harmony Life," a nod to the early Chinese immigrants who built their own underground sanctuaries—places to gather, drink, and belong. We’re keeping that spirit alive, just with fewer secret handshakes and more dangerously well-crafted cocktails.

Our award-winning beverage director, June Baek, has crafted drinks that do more than just taste good—they make you feel things. Regret? Maybe. Euphoria? Likely. An unshakable urge to text your ex? We take no responsibility.

This isn’t a bar for people who just want to sip and nod. It’s a bar for people who want to drink and live.

We know you want the menu. Of course, you do. Curiosity is a beautiful thing.

If you're planning to visit, just look for the humming green light at Club Street Laundry—that’s your portal to the basement. But first, check in upstairs with our staff. We fill up fast, and we don’t do reservations. It’s first come, first served—so get in early and while you can.
